Myopia Treatment

Dr. Labiento Smith controls early myopia progression with low-dose Atropine, MiSight daily contact lenses, Stellest Ophthalmic lenses and/or Orthokeratology. She bases her treatment on the current global literature and standard of care. These treatments for myopia control are considered the gold standard for myopia care. Some children may need one or several myopia control options, depending on age of onset and genetics. All children treated for myopia control at Sudbury Eye Care are seen bi-annually for exams to monitor progression. Myopia control is not covered by insurance.
